“Reach Up, Reach Out”

My name is Danielle Bishop. I am one of the contestants in this prestigious competition. We were asked to conceptualize a “Beauty With A Purpose” project, which gave me the perfect opportunity to do what I feel most passionate about.

The “Reach Up, Reach Out Campaign” is the name of my “Beauty With A Purpose” Project. My love for children is the reason why I choose this project.

Latest Reports show that One Thousand, Five Hundred & Seventy Six children were physically, sexually or emotionally abused in Barbados. Last year, 220 children were sexually abused, 77 of them were abused by a family member.

This project seeks to help the children as was as the families of the children living with this virus, to deal with the most common uprising issues in situations such as this. I truly feel that not enough is really said about this topic.

In effort to raise money as well as donations, There is a food drive that would be fully in place by a late date, donations sheets are ready and while be taken onto the streets of Beautiful Barbados as early as Monday, 7^th June.  Join me Barbados as I embark on this Campaign, help me to “Reach out” to the youth so that they can “Reach up”, grab and be filled with their passion and purpose in life.
