Occupation: Sales Clerk at La Femme Chateau located upstairs Sheraton.
Aspiration: I aspire to become and International Model to display my talent and I also what to be a role model for not only young people but for everyone.
Philosophy: He can who tries is one of my philosophies. This one was our motto at my primary school and has stuck with me till now.
Hobbies: My Hobbies are Singing, dancing, reading and Modeling.
INTERVIEW WITH DANIELLE BISHOP
MBW: Describe yourself in THREE sentences.
DANIELLE I am a 20 year old girl who loves reading, singing and modeling. I am a very fun loving as well as outgoing. I am goal oriented and what ever I put my hands to do I must complete to the best of my abilities.
MBW: What don't most people know about you?
DANIELLE Modelling was not something I always wanted to do until I got older. People at church use to call me Model as a nickname but I never thought anything about it. As I got older it is an enormous passion of mine.
MBW: Which THREE songs must be in your I-Pod?
DANIELLE three songs that you most likely see on my I-Pod are: Jordan Sparks - Battlefield, Leona Lewis - Footprints in the sand, Whitney Huston - I look to you.
MBW: Tell us about your “Beauty With a Purpose” project.
DANIELLE Its called the "Reach up, Reach out” Campaign. This campaign is about youth who are abused and living with HIV/AIDS. We want to tell them that there is hope and that we as a community can come together as one to help in the needs and lives of these young ones.
MBW: What has been your most memorable sunny day?
DANIELLE My most memorable sunny day was coming back to Barbados after being away for two long years.
MBW: If you were invited to participate in the 2010 Italian Fashion Week which international designer would you like to dress you?
DANIELLE The dress I would like to wear if invited to the 2010 Italian Fashion Week would be from designer Emporio Armani.
MBW: Tell us about your favorite liming spot.
DANIELLE My favourite liming spot is being at home. Home is where I get my biggest laughs from being around my family.
MBW: What has been your most embarrassing moment? Describe it.
DANIELLE My most embarrassing moment was that I was at a function held at night and at this function there was a part where there was one step that a lot of people kept tripping over and I laughed until when I was leaving I was among those of the ones that had tripped and I remember looking at my boyfriend to she if he would run to grab me but when I looked back at him, his hands where in the air as if to say “wait I ain’t know what just happened” but that thought me not to laugh at people, because what goes around comes around. Lol.
MBW: What facial products do you use?
DANIELLE I use St. Ives facial products.
MBW: Do you diet, work out or just wing it?
DANIELLE To be honest I just wing it for now.
MBW: What is your X factor?
DANIELLE My X factor is determination, my smile as well as my walk. No matter what happens to me in life I will always be determined to smile while lifting my head high as I walk with God in Any situation of my life.
MBW: What is your personal style?
DANIELLE My personal style has been changing to find the right one, but as I get older the one that suits me the most is high fashion and the sophisticated look.
MBW: What is your weakness if any?
DANIELLE My weakness at present is public speaking but plans to relinquish that are being put in order.
MBW: Where will the Miss Barbados World judges score you highest: interview, talent, swimsuit or gown presentation
DANIELLE I am a well rounded and as I mentioned earlier what ever I put my hands to do I must complete to the best of my abilities.
MBW: Why should you be crowned Miss Barbados World 2010?
DANIELLE I should be crowned “Miss Barbados World 2010” because the confidence as well as the determination needed for the competition.
MBW: What message you would like to send to the other Miss Barbados World contestants?
DANIELLE Never give up on your hopes and dreams for it will lead you to regret in the end. If you are truly serious about modeling and bettering your self “Miss Barbados World” has everything you need to get started, but most importantly pray.

Do not be nervous, use that extra adrenalin and turn into the confidence that you need to execute your speech - you have wonderful content, commit it to memory, take a deep breath, smile and present that speech!!!!

Danielle you are a beautiful person inside as well as out. I met you when you came to America and stayed for two years to help your mother, which was a selfless act. You helped your mother raise your younger brother and sister who are doing exceptional well. Your brother is in early college and your sister has a over a 4.0 gpa. God knows your pure heart and I wish the very best for you because you truly deserve it. You carried yourself in a respectful way. I admire you as a role model for the youth as well as the ones who has lost there way. You were true to God, your signaficant other and most of all yourself. You keep being what God wants you to be .... a successful young lady!!!

Oh my......i almost cry at the comments. Thank you so much.....This gave me the confidence i need in order for me to go forward. I am lost for words and all i can say now is thank you so much. Your pleasant demeanor, your character, your confidence, your faith in God, makes you the great person you are. Thank you mum and thanks Stephanie. I am really enjoying the pageant so for. Today at rehearsals was fun i really learned a lot. I learned to have more confidence in my self and to speak and project my voice. Stephanie i really agreed on what you said about mingling with the other contestants but the reason why i did not it not that i did not wanted to but for the mere fact that i did not know how to. Some people are easy to approach than some. just letting you know that i changed that today.

Hello Princess Danielle Bishop
I have watched you from the get go of the Amateur model Search (still wondering why you haven't won) and you were fabulous. You have what it takes to be an international model, and now you have challenged yourself even more by wanting to become an ambassador for this country at an even greater level..that takes someone with loads of guts and confidence. I have read your comments on this blog. Stop telling yourself you dont have confidence...you do. I watch you when you are on stage, you transform, you dont need confidence for that, that is a natural gift u have....work it....let it work for you and get on to world stage. I like ur spirit, I like your class and elegance, I like you humility that comes out even when you are being a 'model' and I love you...the person. You are a wonderful human being. That is priceless. Danielle you will go places and far, not because of what you dont have but what you do have...loads of humility. And this will cause you to be favored immensely.
Pactice and taking heed to what you need to learn. And only take in what you need for you. Do not be intimidated by any of the other contestants see them as stepping stones, from the weakest to the strongest. LEarn their strengths and their weaknesses. LEt's not forget this is still a competition. Somebody has to win, which means somebody has to be beaten. Leave no stone unturn. Give it all you've got. lol. I saw you at . Boy the gym was fun and i had a blast. Friendly staff, good advice, excellent top class facilities, what more can you ask for? this is my first time going to a gym and it was a pleasant one. i just wanted to tell the staff there that it was a pleasure and that i will see them in the gym again. I certainly look forward to returning.

How was the HIV/AIDS Workshop?

Sorry that i did not write in a while. The HIV/AIDS workshop was great i loved it. many of my questions were answered even before i could ask them. Ms Nurse was very nice, and i learnt a lot. If anyone needed clarification on this topic i would certainly recommend that they speak to Ms Nurse. All i can say is that it was wonderful. :)

The infomercials were a lot of fun. i had fun with the girls as well as stephanie and sherry. lol. :)

The launch went well. I shocked myself in that i faced my fear in public speaking. Nevertheless all of the girls did really well. The launch was one of the biggest hurdles to jump over but we did it and i am proud of not only me, but the girls as well.

We did our survivor challenge yesterday, it was fun. the girls were great, and the challenges were fun. the two groups were "Titans" and "Tridents".Tridents was the name of the team that i was in and glad to say we won majority of the challenges. :) we also learned a lot, it helped us to increase our public speaking and how to get along with our pairs. we also learnt how to be prepared for what ever life threw at us. it was an awesome experience.

oh man!!! the interaction with the people were great. And to my surprise they are most approachable than the people that live in the city. when the games were going on it was as though they wanted to join in. when we asked around for the items that we needed to gather in order to win, it felt as though the villagers were pushing for there own team of girls to win. lol. I would LOVE to do it again.
